Update! Duke has been on antibiotics and got some anti parasitic! Got 3 tests done. Fecal, urine and blood! He is doing much better and the bill as of now came to $1,600 ! I have put $500 of my own and family donations! So $500 is paid and I will be pulling the go fund me as soon as I can cover one more payment so I can have that time to save for the last payment. Thank you all SO VERY MUCH from my ENTIRE BEING!!! The support I’ve felt from the community, friends and family is extremely appreciated and it’s exactly that village help I needed. Hello! My name is Melissa. I've recently been going through some very hard times and have recently switched jobs. Funds are already non-existent to be able to feed myself and keep my car for work.

My dog, Duke, is 7 and the sweetest boy. He's been the only thing keeping me going since my mom passed away, and I just cannot let him be in pain and suffering, so I am pleading for help. I've found today that he has blood in his bowel movements and simply cannot afford to cover this bill at the moment. I do have insurance for him but not the funds to be able to use it. I put 10k as the goal as his last vet trip was 8000 WITHOUT surgery. Any remaining funds will go to an animal emergency fund account for follow-up appointments. Anything is appreciated, even a share.
