Hello!! My name is Melissa Reyes-Izada, and I am a dedicated taekwondo athlete who has worked hard to reach the highest levels of my sport. Through discipline, consistency, and countless hours of training, taekwondo has shaped who I am both on and off the mat. Every practice, competition, and sacrifice has been driven by my goal of representing my country with pride.

Because of this hard work, I earned a spot on team usa, an achievement that reflects commitment and perseverance. Making the national team is an incredible honor, but it also comes with significant financial responsibilities, including training expenses, travel, and such. Thankful for the Team since they covered competition fees.

I am now preparing to compete internationally at the Junior world taekwondo competition representing the United States on the world stage.
