I just started a new job that pays less than a living wage, and I spent my last dollar getting my car out of the shop today. I'm single and in need of help. It's been a tough start to 2026, and I never imagined I'd be in this position. Usually, I'm the one who gives help without a second thought, but now I find myself needing it. My pride has always been my downfall, but I'm putting that aside because I can't afford to lose any more than I already have.

The funds raised here will help me pay my bills and rent, and also help me regain some of my self-worth and dignity, which I've lost since the year began. I know that asking for help is hard, and I truly appreciate anyone who even takes the time to read my story. Times are tough for everyone lately, and I completely understand if you can't donate. Even sharing this fundraiser on your page or platforms would be a huge help for me. My personal circle is small, and my online presence is limited, so getting the word out is a challenge.

Regardless of what type of help can be given, I would be greatly appreciative for it. I know that most of the time when these fundraisers are made, it's for hardship funds or medical expenses, and I understand that my reason may not seem as important as others out there. But I am hoping that someone, anyone who may see this will understand the spot I'm in.
