My name is Melissa, and I’ve always loved to write. In 2020, I finally began creating a book series that had lived in my imagination for years. As I wrote, my characters grew and multiplied, and one day I created a woman named Amara "Ma'Dre" Baptiste. She quickly became the heart of my story and shaped the direction of the entire series.
