I never imagined I’d be writing something like this — and honestly, I wish I didn’t have to. But life doesn’t always give us a choice.

Recently, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Hearing those words stopped everything. My world shifted. The days since have been filled

with doctor appointments, overwhelming

decisions, and the quiet fear that creeps in

when things get too quiet. But I’m choosing to

fight. I have to fight. I want to live. I want more

time with the people I love. And I’m not ready

to give up.

But the truth is, cancer is not only a physical battle — it’s a financial one too. The cost of just trying to survive each day is more than I can handle alone.

I’m reaching out and asking for help — which is so hard to do. But I’ve learned that vulnerability takes strength, and right now I need to be strong in every way I can.
