Hi everyone, I normally have a hard time asking for help, but I’ve learned that sometimes allowing ourselves to receive support is also part of the journey. Over the past few years, I moved to Iowa to pursue graduate studies and continue building a future centered around healing, education, and professional growth. This season of my life has brought immense transformation, learning, and clarity about where I feel called next. Now that I’ve completed this chapter, I am preparing to move my family and myself back to Texas to be closer to family, community, and support as I step into this new phase of my personal and professional life.

This move is especially important to me because my mother’s health has been declining, and we recently lost my stepdad in January. Being closer to family will allow me to support my mom during this difficult time, while also stepping into a new career that will require a lot of travel so I will need support with the kids from family etc. The emotional and practical challenges of this transition are significant, but I am hopeful that with your support, we can make this move possible.

As many know, moving across states can become expensive very quickly. The biggest immediate costs include trailer rental, hitch purchase and installation, fuel/travel expenses, and moving supplies. Any contribution, no matter how small, would help ease this transition tremendously and allow me to focus on rebuilding, reconnecting with family, and moving forward into this next chapter with stability and peace.
