It is with deep sadness we share that our 8 month-old puppy, Ru, contracted and died from parvo virus infection. She was vaccinated. Ru was treasured by us for every moment of her brief life with us from age 6 weeks to 8 months We are on a limited income, I earn minimum wage, and my husband is disabled and collects monthly disability. We earn about $2000 per month. The emergency veterinarian cost $300, her hospitalization cost $600, her cremation costs $245. Also we included our gasoline expenses as the medical center is two hours round-trip from our home. We overdrafted our bank accounts to pay for the veterinary services and now we have no money for next month.
