Just last night, my sister Melissa and her four beautiful children, Casey (14), Carter (11), Conor (8), and Kayla (6) lost everything in a heartbreaking house fire.

They had just moved into their new home on May 7th, ready to start fresh and make new memories together. It was supposed to be a new beginning for their little family. Instead, everything they had worked for was gone in a matter of minutes.

The fire took everything. Their clothes, their beds, their furniture, the kids’ toys and school supplies, all of it. But what’s been the hardest of all is losing their sweet cat, Riley. The kids are devastated. Riley was more than a pet. He was part of their family.

Melissa is a single mom who’s always done everything she can to keep her kids safe and loved. She’s strong, kind, and incredibly selfless. But no one can prepare for something like this. Right now, she’s facing the unimaginable, trying to care for four children without a home, without belongings, and without a sense of normal.

This fundraiser is to help her get back on her feet. Every donation will go toward giving her family a place to stay, helping replace the basics like clothes and shoes, getting school supplies, and bringing back some kind of comfort after so much loss.
