Update 8/5/25 Missi fought a hard fight for the last 11 days. She had so much trauma to her body that she just couldn’t fight anymore. She passed away peacefully at around 11:40 pm on 8/4/25. We ask that you please continue to pray for her family and friends in the days, weeks and months to come. She was such a blessing to all that knew her and made a huge impact on all of our lives. Melissa “Missi” Fulford was in a terrible car accident on Friday 7/25/25. She was taken to Southeast Medical Center in Dothan, Al. Her prognosis on Friday was not good at all. By Saturday afternoon she was stable enough to be transferred to UAB in Birmingham, Alabama by jet.

She has MANY injuries to include internal bleeding, broken bones, and according to scans some damage to her brain, just to name a few. She has already had multiple surgeries to repair some of these issues but she will likely need several more in the coming days.She has no medical insurance to cover any of this but besides that she obviously has bills that still have to be paid at home. Her significant other, Richard Nevels, is by her side at the hospital and is missing work and income as well.

First and foremost we ask for your prayers! If you can donate to this cause all donations given will go directly to pay their bills, cover any expenses he has while staying by her side, and go towards her medical bills that will start rolling in at some point.
