Help Melissa fight Colon Cancer!

Dear Friends, Family, and loving Strangers,

We are reaching out to you today on behalf of Melissa Linford, a loving single mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and coworker who has recently been faced with an unimaginable challenge. In October 2023, Melissa was diagnosed with stage 3 Colon Cancer after a routine colonoscopy. She had surgery to remove of 1/3 of her colon. Unfortunately during the surgery they discovered the cancer had spread to a lymph node and surrounding abdominal wall. Since then she has been going through a grueling chemo therapy regimen. Melissa continues to work full time during her treatment to support her family and pay the mounting medical bills all on her own. She has been battling this horrible disease with unwavering strength and determination to beat it. As her journey continues, we are seeking your support to help Melissa cover the staggering cost to fight cancer.

Symptoms of colon cancer can include:

* A change in bowel habits, such as more frequent diarrhea or constipation.

* Rectal bleeding or blood in the stool.

* Ongoing discomfort in the belly area, such as cramps, gas or pain.

* A feeling that the bowel doesn't empty all the way during a bowel movement.

* Weakness or tiredness.

* Losing weight without trying.
