On January 16th, 2025, my mother, Melissa, was diagnosed with Stage 3C TNBC - Triple Negative Breast Cancer. TNBC is more aggressive than any other types of breast cancer and has a higher risk of recurrence. Doctors use the strongest chemo there is to help get rid of it!
On January 27th, my mother will be getting a chemo port put in her chest to then start chemotherapy. Following up with radiation and surgeries. Imagine trying to take all this in, with all this news, it has been so hard for my mother, Melissa, to process everything. All the questions going through her mind. All the emotions. The tears. Her life is really about to change tremendously.
With this diagnosis comes costs, and sadly, the amount of money you have to pay for chemotherapy is stressful in itself. Having to be off of work due to chemo, being sick, having to go through radiation and surgeries. Bills do not stop. So please, we ask, anyone, and everyone, PLEASE if you can donate anything to help with the chemotherapy costs, it would be greatly appreciated! We want to help take that financial burden off of her so she can focus on the task at hand, beating this disease! Whether it is donations, support services, any aid programs, any events that could help raise money, please let us know! Anything at this point helps!

UPDATE: Melissa’s diagnosis has advanced to stage 4, with the cancer spreading to her neck lymph nodes. Melissa will begin chemotherapy Friday, January 24th at 7:30AM, so please just know anything helps, and please continue to pray! WE LOVE YOU MOM! WE ARE READY TO FIGHT WITH YOU! WE GOT THIS! YOU GOT THIS! ❤️
