Help Melissa Buchanan Beat Breast Cancer!

Friends and family, our kind, witty, talented, and lovely lady Melissa Buchanan has just been diagnosed with invasive breast cancer, and I am asking for your support.

Melissa is (as many of us know) a compassionate, empathetic, and generous soul, one who forgives easily, loves both broadly and deeply, and gives whatever she can back to the world. She is strong, and despite the challenges (and sometimes just overall crap) life has thrown at her, she has faced it on her own two feet and head on, with a giant heart and without asking for assistance.

Melissa is also a private person, so when she opened up about her recent diagnosis I offered to start this Go Fund Me campaign for her. Thankfully the doctors caught it early, and while her prognosis looks very promising, medical treatment brings with it extensive medical bills. I’d love for us to rally and muster all of the support we can offer during this time for Melissa, financially and otherwise.

Based on experience with other friends and family, and partial insurance coverage that Melissa has, I’m hoping to raise $50,000 to support all of bills her medical insurance won’t cover. Additionally, funds will help support her living expenses during her time out of work.
