We are reaching out to support a family facing an incredibly difficult chapter in their lives. Melissa LeFevre-Common is currently recovering from cancer, a process that has brought significant physical and emotional challenges. During this time, she is also struggling with depression, which has made recovery even more difficult.

Melissa, does not work and was denied health insurance, leaving her without coverage for necessary medical care and ongoing follow‑up appointments. Her husband has had to reduce his work hours so he can care for her, provide emotional support, and take her to frequent medical visits. As a result, their household income has been greatly reduced while expenses continue to rise.

Medical treatments, medications, mental health care, transportation, and basic living costs are being paid largely out of pocket. The financial strain has become overwhelming at a time when their focus should be on healing and stability.
