I Lisa Arenas (a close friend of Melissa Roy) is setting up this page to help with funeral expenses for her mom, Jeanne Roy (Desaulnier) who passed away peacefully in her home on June 14, 2025 (something she always mentioned & hoped for). She faced significant health challenges, most especially towards the end, and despite her strength and resilience, ultimately passed away. She was the widow of Wayne Roy who passed away in 1993.

Her passing came unexpectedly and has unexpectedly blindsided her family near and far. Unfortunately, she didn’t have any arrangements in place for this kind of situation, which has placed a significant financial burden on her loved ones as they now face funeral expenses and other related costs.

She was well known in the community and a very proud Army veteran for her 10 years of service in the military.

All contributions will go directly to Jeanne’s daughter Melissa & Fred for Jeanne’s funeral expenses and related costs. Burial is paid for by the RI Veterans Cemetery.
