Hi friends,

I'm Michelle, Melissa Riley's sister. As many of you know, Melissa's house caught fire on Sunday, March 6th. Melissa lost everything in the fire and will be essentially starting from scratch. Most importantly, she and the dogs are fine, safe and have a place to stay.

We are tackling the basics today--insurance, getting a phone, replacing everything in the wallet, clothes, etc. We are hoping to salvage a key to her car today.

She has fantastic friends, and the outpouring of love and support has been incredible. She sincerely thanks every one of you.

Many of you have asked how you can help. If you are able and would like to contribute as Melissa rebuilds her life and home, we'd greatly appreciate it. I'll provide updates here as things progress.
