My name is Melinda Shamblin, and I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult times our family has ever faced. Over the past few months, life has hit us with a series of unexpected challenges that have left us struggling to stay afloat.

Due to medical issues, I’ve been out of work, and the recovery process has made it impossible to keep up with our usual responsibilities — let alone the emergencies that keep piling up. Recently, we had to replace our well — an expensive but essential repair just to have running water again. As if that weren’t enough, our air conditioner just broke down in the middle of a scorching summer. The heat is unbearable, and it’s become a real concern for our health and comfort.
