Most of you know that life has thrown me quite the curveball recently. And now I find myself in a situation that's beyond challenging.
I've always believed in the power of prayer and of strength in numbers, so today, I'm reaching out to this incredible community for your thoughts, insights, and perhaps a glimmer of hope.
Tommy's death was so sudden and unexpected...and we were woefully unprepared in so many ways. He had no life insurance, our business and income have completely crumbled due to circumstances beyond my control, my car is stuck in the shop, bills are piling up, and eviction is no longer knocking on my door; it's got one foot in and is dragging me out, kicking and screaming. Life is testing me in ways I never imagined.
This is my reality right now. No assets to sell, no lines of credit, no wealthy family member to lean on, and no apparent assistance available. It's extremely humbling to be in such a tough spot when a few short months ago, everything was great.
If you were in my shoes, facing the imminent threat of losing everything, how would you navigate this challenging terrain? How would you not only get back on your feet financially but also restart your life? ⚖️
I can't help but feel that God is trying to get my attention once and for all. I'm at a crossroads, and I'm being nudged to choose to live for a purpose I may not have discovered yet or to keep going down the road I'm on. I used to be passionate about my purpose, and I'm dying to find that spark again.
I'm open to any suggestions, advice, or words of encouragement you might have. Maybe someone out there has been through a similar journey and can share their wisdom.
All I want to do is shout from the rooftops, "Here am I, Lord. Send me!"
Oh wait...I have. ⏳⌛
I just don't know what else to do in the meantime. I know God is never late and His ways are above our ways. I also know that I need Him now more than ever.
Whatever happens, I want my life to ultimately bring honor and glory to the One that knew me before He formed me. To the One who sent His son to die, so that I might truly live. ♥️
This is a vulnerable moment for me, but I do believe in the strength of community and the power of collective wisdom. ✨
If you have any thoughts or if you know someone who might, please feel free to reach out. Your support means the world to me, and I'm ready to face whatever comes my way.
Thank you for being part of my journey and I would love for you to connect with me and join with me as I praise Him in this storm.
If you are able to contribute a little, it will go toward keeping a roof over Miles' and my heads, getting my car out of the shop (it's fixed, but not paid), catching up with the utility bills that are behind so that I can keep the electricity on, water running, and have heat, and catching up on my car payments (which is now in danger of being repossessed)... Oh, and maybe a couple of pairs of jeans and shoes for Miles, as he has managed to outgrow all of his. ♀️
I realize it's Christmas time and money doesn't grow on trees, but if you are able to do $6, 11.50, $22, or some other random amount equal to the amount of loose change in your purse, couch, or cup holder, please know that every bit of it will be appreciated. ♥️
It can be like having a virtual coffee. Or virtual TACOS!
Whether you are able to contribute or not, I appreciate you taking the time to read all this. I would love to have your prayers for wisdom, discernment, and God's blessings in our lives. Also, if you would please share this page and add a line or two about how you know Tommy, me, Miles, or maybe the puppers. (Everyone knows the puppers! lol)
Oh, and Duke says he doesn't care about coffee, but he too loves tacos...♀️ And he doesn't know what virtual means, but he's up for anything involving food. or treats...
Thank you again and know that one day, this will be a memory and I will be paying it forward whenever I can. ♥️♥️♥️
