Dear friends, some of you may already know that earlier this year  Melinda was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma - a blood cancer that starts in the bone marrow. Since her diagnosis, months have been filled with difficult procedures, harsh new realities, and complicated preparations for what lies ahead.


In October, Melinda will undergo  a Stem Cell Transplant to help her body regain the ability to produce healthy blood cells 

The days ahead will be tough. Along with physical and emotional challenges will come mounting medical expenses, including many out-of-pocket costs. During treatment and recovery, Melinda will not be able to work, which will further increase this financial burden.

Although we can’t fight this battle for her, we can come together and help ease some of the financial difficulties that lie ahead.  Every little bit contributed here will help Melinda focus all her energy on fighting the disease so that she can return to the vibrant life she loves!
