Dear friends and family, i am starting this fundraiser for my beautiful mother Melinda.

My mother was experiencing excruciating back pain for the past several years. Her doctor prior to the wonderful doctor she has now, was testing her since 2016 every. single. month. up until November 2024. Testing always came back fine. Since her pain was still continuing my sister advised her to seek testing with another doctor. So on April 28th 2025 the new doctor my mother had been seeing told her she not only had cancer, but she more than likely already had cancer for the past 3 years…

She was diagnosed with metastatic neuroendocrine carcinoma, a rare and aggressive type of cancer. Our whole world changed in an instant. My mom is truly the heart of our family. She's always been the strongest person I know - selfless, full of love, and the best Nana to her grandkids.

She's been there for all of us through everything — and now we're doing everything we can to be there for her.

She's currently going through chemotherapy, and in two months getting another pet scan to see if the radiation she had done prior worked. Even though she's facing this fight with incredible courage, sometimes the financial weight is overwhelming.

We are raising funds to help cover her medical expenses and treatments.
