Hello family and friends, as some of you may or may not know, about 2 months ago Melinda Roberts was diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma.  This is the most aggressive type of brain cancer there is and as of now there is no cure. Sadly the life expectancy is only 1-5 years at the most after diagnosis.  Since her diagnosis,  we have seen the terrible effects this cancer has already had on her. The largest of the tumors caused her to have a stroke that left the entire left side of her body paralyzed. She has been and will continue to be in and out of hospitals but is currently residing at her sisters house.  Although friends and family have tried their best to take care of her on their own, the level of care needed has proven to be too much and we are now having to pay for a full time nurse to help care for Melinda.  This is so that she is able to spend time with those that she loves instead of worrying about if she will hurt her daughter, son or sister when they are trying to help her with her basic daily needs and bodily functions.  However, this type of care is very expensive and we are now asking for some help from our friends and family.   Any donation or even just sharing this Go Fund Me will help us immensely and will be greatly cherished by the Roberts family.
