Our beloved Melina Fricks has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 Diffuse Midline Glioma, a rare and aggressive brain tumor. This devastating news has shaken her world, but if you know Melina, you know she is a fighter with a heart full of strength and hope.

Melina and her husband Matt Fricks, recently began their journey together as newlyweds. A huge part of their happiness is their six beloved cats, who they care for as part of their family. Just a few months ago, Melina adopted three of her furry friends, after learning that the humane society couldn’t take them in. She couldn’t bear to see them left without a home, and Matt supported her wholeheartedly in adopting them. Together they built a loving and compassionate household, always putting others (human and animal) before themselves.

Now, as Melina and Matt face this unimaginable challenge, they need our help to focus on her treatment and wellbeing without the crushing weight of financial stress. They need our support to help with the overwhelming medical expenses and other costs that come with her battle, including treatments not covered by insurance, specialized therapies, and travel to appointments.
