Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my dear friend Meleney Gooden and her family in Jamaica, who were deeply affected by the recent hurricane. The storm caused severe damage — homes were flooded, roads were blocked, and many families, including Meleney’s, are without power, clean water, or basic supplies.

Right now, they’re doing their best to stay strong, but the conditions are extremely difficult. Communication has been limited, and they’ve gone days without electricity or running water. Food and other essentials are becoming scarce in their community.

I’ve known Meleney Gooden for a long time, and she’s one of the most caring and kind-hearted people I’ve ever met. It breaks my heart to see her and her family struggling like this. I’m starting this GoFundMe to help them get food, clean water, and emergency supplies as they recover.
