Hello.

I am starting this campaign for my friend Melanie Plummer. We have been friends for over 30 years and she is one of the strongest women I have ever known.

Recently, Melanie has fallen on very hard times. She was involved in a car accident in which she  and suffered major traumatic  injuries and surgeries as well as totaling her car.

Due to the recovery time needed to heal Melanie lost her job as a caregiver. 

Now, with no money to live on (rent, groceries, utilities, etc.) and no transportation,and an eviction notice, Melanie had been diagnosed with stomach cancer and will be evicted from her home by January 14th if her rent is not paid.

It is certain that Melanie's  road to recovery will be long and arduous, with multiple surgeries and PT along her road back.

While she is a fighter, Melanie will need our endless support at this time.We hope that you'll help us raise funds that help to support Melanie through what we know will be an incredibly difficult road to recovery. Any financial stress we can relieve through this campaign will allow her to focus her attention on where it should be - on healing.
