My name Melanie! I just graduated in May of 2025 with my B.S. in Clinical/Community Psychology from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I encountered God in college, met some of my closest friends, and realized I wanted to eventually pursue missions. Due to circumstances, I ended up moving out and living on my own. I am working 2 jobs in order to pay for my loans and living expenses but I am still struggling because I am $95,000 in student loan debt with 3/4 of that debt being from private loans. My minimum payments are high enough as it is but my loans are making it extremely difficult to live on my own and be completely financially independent. I don’t regret my decision to go to UIUC, but I need help to pay off my loans. Anything would be appreciated!
