Help Melanie Overcome Breast Cancer Costs

So we have the official word, my Honeyface Melanie has been diagnosed with invasive carcinoma breast cancer. The cancer has spread to a few nearby lymph nodes, but that’s all they can see at this point. They are scheduling her for an MRI on the 14th to see more because she has very dense breasts.

At this point, it looks like we caught it early, but they won’t be able to tell for sure until surgery, which is scheduled for the 19th of this month.

We are hopeful.

That being said, CHAMPVA is cost-sharing. We have to pay 25% of the cost. At this point, I’m not even sure where we’re at cost-wise with everything, but I am trying to be proactive. She has an MRI on the 14th and surgery on the 19th, where we will find out more.

I’m asking for anything you can give to help us out financially while we are going through this.
