Hi! My name is Melanie Morton and I’m a sophomore at Flagstaff Arts and Leadership Academy. I have an amazing opportunity to travel to Paris with my French class my junior year of high school but I must pay for my trip now! I work hard in school and have maintained a 4.0 throughout all of middle school and high school. I’m also a dancer and competitive figure skater. I am active in my church and volunteer many service hours there. In fact last year I earned an award for my level of service hours. Since my dad had his stroke my mom has worked 3 jobs to provide for me but I’m going to need to raise all of the money for this trip. Going to Paris is a once in a lifetime

opportunity that will help me gain valuable life skills, understand a new culture and give me an edge on my college applications not to mention making countless memories with my friends before we graduate! Thank you so much!!
