Hi my name is Melanie.. I am a FT nurse for over 16 yrs and been getting struck with a hurricane of bad luck….. . I have been homeless for about 3 months now and it’s getting colder outside…. Winter is coming and The cost of hotels is drowning me… I don’t have any family and lost a lot of people during this time of need... I suffered a lot of respiratory issues while staying at my previous residence including being admitted to the ICU… I was evicted 2 days after requesting the wall testing results done by the Health department and now Nobody will rent to me d/t eviction on my record…. Prior to that residence my house caught fire.. my water heater exploded setting my stairs on fire while home with my daughter….. Right when I started to rebuild after that huge loss I feel like everything is tumbling down again….My hope is fading away ….I feel like my life is stuck in these hotels that cost double to triple my rent. (hard when u don’t have a place to call home) I’m ready to give up☹️
