Help Melanie Fight Breast Cancer

Our family is reaching out during an incredibly difficult time. Melanie, our vibrant, loving, and full of life 52-year-old Wife, Mom, and most importantly to her Grandma, was recently diagnosed with stage 4 triple negative invasive breast cancer. An aggressive form of breast cancer that has brought her world, and ours, to a sudden standstill.

As many know, cancer does not just affect the body, it affects every part of life. Despite the medical bills, diagnostic scans and procedures, treatment costs, and future expenses continue to grow. All money raised will be going towards non-insurance covered costs. The financial strain has placed a heavy burden on Melanie and her family at this time.

Melanie is preparing to start an intense treatment plan that reflects the aggressive nature of her diagnosis. She is going to be receiving chemotherapy every week, in the hopes to prevent the cancer from growing. Her oncologist suspects that more cancer may be present based on diagnostic imaging, but waiting for the surgical pathology report to be sure. This uncertainty brings not only emotional strain, but also a significant increase in medical expenses and future care planning.
