Hi, my name is Dawn and we are raising some much-needed funds for our dear friend Melanie Yesner who has stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

Melanie, the beloved mom of Tyler and Jacob, wife to Shawn, teacher and friend to everyone was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in late 2022. With big medical bills continuing to mount, and the cost of alternative, secondary and specialized treatments being out of reach, Melanie needs our help! She is a true fighter and ready to do whatever it takes to give her children more years with their mom who loves and adores them!

Melanie has been so kind, generous, brave and incredibly selfless all her life. She has worked in mental health, been a loving caretaker, teacher, mother and daughter. Dedicating her life to helping, teaching and serving others with love, she is a true giver, in every sense of the word.

Now is the time for us to give back to Melanie, surround her in love and support, lighten her load and help her add more years with her beautiful family who loves and adores her right back.

Hello everyone,

I am continuing to fight this cancer as hard as I can with all of my might. I am going to get a second opinion at MD Anderson Hospital in Texas in order to ensure I'm getting the best treatment available with the most hopeful outcomes and hopefully look into some alternative treatments. I appreciate everyone so much for the assistance that has already been provided. If anyone is able to donate to assist with getting this second opinion, the help is much appreciated! I'm doing anything and everything in my power to be able to be here for my kids as long as possible. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions.
