Help Melanie and Mike Battle Cancer

A couple of months ago, Melanie noticed an unexplained growth near her left collar bone. After weeks of agonizing uncertainty, doctor visits, and the poking and prodding of various tests, they heard the word that none of us ever want to hear—cancer.

A surgical operation to remove the growth confirmed the diagnosis—Hodgkin's lymphoma. Melanie, Mike, and their four children—Marley, Jackson, Tristan, and Kynleigh—are now gearing up for six months of chemotherapy.

Melanie is an incredibly strong woman. If you need convincing, look no further than her work raising four young children while working with Mike's crazy travel schedule (he's an airline pilot).

We know that she is going to beat this disease, but the fight won't be easy. Your donation, no matter how modest, will help Mike and Melanie navigate the difficult journey ahead. While none of us can shoulder the burden for them, together we can at least ease some of the financial stress that sadly accompanies such a diagnosis.
