I am raising money for my dear friend Melanie, who has been the victim of domestic abuse. Melanie and I have known each other for many years, and my heart and my prayers go out to her and her children.

On September 9th, Melanie was viciously beaten by Dave in their home over a domestic dispute revolving around their divorce.

Unfortunately, Melanie, now being a single mother of two beautiful girls, has taken on the responsibility of a mortgage and all of the associated utility bills that come with day-to-day life. With her permission, I have started this GoFundMe account to help her and her daughters get stabilized in their new life.

She is currently not in a good place right now, but God willing, with some time and with support from all of us, we can help her get to a much better place for her and her daughters.
