Hi Everyone,

My best friend/roommate Melissa was just diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. If you know Mel she is a very upbeat person and has done a lot for many people. She has great love for all of her friends and if you have only met her she is always sweet to those that she has just met.

This diagnosis was very unexpected and they are not sure what kind of cancer it is and they have been doing all these tests to figure out the origin. They have said it was lung cancer but they are not sure because she is not a smoker and because the way it has spread.

She really needs some help with all the medical bills and we are trying to get her in the city of hope but with her insurance she is not eligible. If you can donate any amount that would greatly help with some of the bills and things she has to pay out of pocket.
