Hello all, my name is Mekhi, and I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult moments of my life. A couple days ago, I laid my homie to rest and suffered a seizure hours later that landed me in the hospital. The experience was scary as fuck and overwhelming, and now I’m facing medical bills I simply can’t afford on top of the costs of my diabetic medication. Dealing with diabetes is already an ass hat daily challenge, but this recent emergency has made things even harder. I’m doing my best to stay healthy, but the cost of insulin and other essential health care needs is more than I can handle atm. Since then I worry about how I’ll be able to afford the medication and care to keep me healthy. I know times are tough for everyone, and I seriously fucking hate asking for help.
