Hello. My name is Meghan, a single mom to wonderful 12-year-old twin boys. Last year, after 10 years of single motherhood, my sons and I were finally able to realize our dream of becoming homeowners and bought a small townhome in their school district. However, shortly after moving in my ex-husband filed a lawsuit which in effect would force us out of our new home and school district. We have spent the last year in court, going the extra mile to peacefully resolve the matter by offering over multiple different settlement offers and trying to mediate, but my ex refused to settle and insisted on going to trial.
