Help Meghan Godfrey Return Home to Australia

On 16 July 2019 Meghan Godfrey sadly departed this world. Meghan was charming, trusting, personable and full of adventure. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to have met her. She was only 27 years old.
After receiving an email from her daughter Meghan requesting her assistance, Meghan's mother -Janelle- flew to Washington D.C to bring her home. She arrived late in the evening of 16 July, and began her search on 17 July. Unfortunately she had difficulty finding her. And so, for the past 10 days Washington DC Police, Amtrak Police, Union Station Security, The Australian Embassy, Australian Ex-Pat Community, and Street Outreach, have collaborated in an effort to locate and reunite mother and daughter. We got several promising leads (even as recent as last night during a four hour outreach search), and so were all very gutted to learn of an unidentified missing person that matched Meghan's description on 7/27/19 around midnight. Today, 7/28/19, it was confirmed that that unidentified body is indeed Meghan Godfrey.
As you might imagine, Janelle and her family are quite overwhelmed by the unexpectedness of a beautiful life cut so short. I created this campaign in the hopes to ease some of the families burden in figuring out a way to take Meghan back to Australia, where she can be with family.
100% of what is raised will go to Janelle and her family to aid in transportation costs for mother and daughter back to Australia (Janelle cancelled her return flight when Meghan was not yet located), an extended hotel stay, and other funeral and memorial related expenses.
