Help Meghan Get The Treatment She Needs

Hi everyone my name is Sydney and I am making this Gofundme page for my best pal Meghan. Meghan and I met each other in eating disorder treatment, which if you do not know is extremely expensive. She is currently unemployed and on disability due to her eating disorder and other extremely all consuming adversities that prevent her from being in the mental headspace to care for others.
She is one of the sweetest, most humble people I know and before this situation occurred she was a caretaker for special needs children. Her heart for helping so many children with Rett Syndrome is something I and so many others can only hope to be half of someday.
This being said, Meghan needs to re-enter treatment to overcome this nasty eating disorder and unrelenting depression she has struggled with for over 15 years. However, her insurance is being super uncooperative and is fighting her tooth and nail to not cover any of her treatment. If they deny her coverage, there is absolutely no way she can afford it which leaves her in a very unsafe situation.
On top of all of that, due to her being unemployed she is struggling so much with finances. Living in Los Angeles is no joke when it comes to the price of living and without any support she can only afford to live here for 2 more months. This means if her insurance approves treatment she may not be able to go because of she may not be able to afford living in LA. She has no car and will have to spend three hours on a bus each day just to get to this treatment center. In addition, she has just stepped down from residential treatment to outpatient because insurance will not approve the PHP program she needs. This basically means she went from 24/7 support to a few hours a week. These sessions cost a lot of money and are not covered by insurance, leaving her with a huge bill at the end of the month that is higher than what she pays for rent. The fact that the support she needs costs so much and she cannot work is turning into a big mess.
To say the least not many things are going in her favor lately and I am making this to hopefully have a few kindhearted people donate to her so she can get the help she needs. There is no one more deserving and since she would NEVER make this for herself I knew I had to. She has been trying to overcome the adversities of our healthcare system for over 15 years, and wants to help make a change once she in in a healthy space so no more people have to be denied care like she has.
