UPDATE : As many of you know Meghan has basal cell carcinoma and had a massive tumor on her face , we’ll Today was Meghan’s surgery, and it turned out to be much more serious than anyone expected. The doctors had to go in four separate times to remove the entire tumor, which ended up being larger than a baseball. Because of how extensive it was, she had to undergo reconstruction surgery along with a skin graft to close the area.
Due to the unexpected severity, the cost increased by $400, bringing the total surgery cost to $1,250. Because of YOU, we were able to cover $1,025 today, and every single dollar went directly toward her surgery. We are so incredibly grateful.
However, we are still $200 short, and the doctor will not allow her to come back for her very important follow-up appointment in three weeks until the balance is paid. This visit is critical to make sure everything is healing properly and that the cancer is not returning.
On top of that, Meghan was originally only supposed to miss two days of work, but now due to the severity of the procedure, she is on strict bed rest for six days.Thats SIX days she is off BOTH jobs and is already living paycheck to paycheck, so this is a massive hit financially and with her other medical bills piling faster than she can heal. She’s expected to have significant swelling, including her eye swelling shut for 4–5 days, meaning she will be out of both of her jobs longer than planned and taking a major financial hit.
I am asking—begging—one more time… if everyone who sees this could give just $5 or even just share this post, we can come together and get that last $200 covered and take a huge weight off her shoulders so she can focus on healing.
We see every share, every donation, every kind word—and it truly means more than we can ever put into words. Because of you, this tumor was removed before it could grow even bigger or cause more damage. We thank God, and we thank all of you.
If I had it, I would cover it myself—but I’m already stretched beyond what I can do, and her family has given all they can.
Please, if you’re able, help us finish this. And if you can’t donate, sharing this means just as much.
Thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart for already helping her get through this surgery! Please share and let’s get this chapter closed for Meg
