Thursday, June 19, 2025, lightning struck in the tundra and black spruce-covered ridge a couple of miles south of Meggie and Pierre’s homestead. North driving winds and continued hot, dry weather drove the ensuing wildfire north along the ridge, dipping down off into the eastern valleys.

By 8 pm, Friday the 20th, Meggie and Pierre’s home, garage, and homestead valley called “Birch Draw” were completely decimated by the Bear Creek fire. This fundraiser is to assist with rehabilitating their homestead and rebuilding. There are other avenues to give, but if an electronic donation is easiest, please give as the Lord leads. All donations go as gifts to Meggie and Pierre.

They are currently living in their small camper with their son, Rocky, and his family while starting the rebuild of a new home. Thank you for your generosity and, as always, for partnering with them and for your support.
