Help Megan Hannigan and Her Family During This Medical Crisis

Megan Hannigan is a 32-year-old mother of five beautiful children, a devoted fiancé, and a dear friend to so many. On the morning of February 10th, after dropping her children off at school, Megan was rushed to the emergency room after experiencing seizures and losing consciousness.
She was stabilized and sent home around midday, but later that evening her condition took a terrifying turn. Around 6 p.m., 911 was called as Megan began having uncontrollable seizures and went into anaphylactic shock. She was rushed back to the hospital and remained there in Myrtle Beach for eight days. During that time, she endured 19 seizures. It wasn't until February 19th that Megan was transferred to MUSC in Charleston to receive more specialized care. She has remained there ever since, undergoing extensive testing, including continuous EEG monitoring to track her brain activity.
As of February 21st, Megan has been diagnosed with a TBI as a result of the fall and has has not been able to walk or adequately communicate. She’s so grateful to have begun both physical and speech therapy to begin her road to recovery. Unfortunately the road is still long as they await answers for the source of the seizures and anaphylaxis.

Meanwhile, her fiancé is doing everything he can to care for their five children and support Megan through this incredibly difficult time. This young family is facing emotional and financial uncertainty, and they need our help.

Funds raised will go toward medical expenses, travel costs between Myrtle Beach and Charleston, household bills, and helping provide stability for their children while Megan focuses on healing.

Megan would never ask for help herself. But if the roles were reversed, she would give the shirt off her back to help someone else in need. If you are able, please consider donating and sharing this page. No amount is too small. Your prayers, love, and support mean more than words can express.

Thank you for lifting this family up during one of the most difficult seasons of their lives
