My family and I are facing eviction, with our lockout date set for January 10th, 2026. We were told by the corporate office of our park that if we could pay the amount on our eviction notice, they would be able to either pause or cancel the eviction process. This is our last hope to keep our home and stay together as a family.

Our challenges began when my husband was put on medical leave in January 2025 due to an AVM in his brain. He stopped receiving short-term disability pay from his job in April 2025, which is when we started to fall behind on rent. I applied for disability in 2024 but was denied, and I reapplied in August 2025 and am still waiting for a decision. My husband is about to start radiation treatment for his AVM, and we are doing our best to care for our 7-year-old son with special needs, along with our two dogs and five cats—one of whom just had kittens. We have reached out to DSS and other local organizations, but so far, we have not been able to get the help we need.

The funds raised will go directly toward the eviction amount so we can keep our home. Any extra support will help us cover future rent payments until I am approved for disability. We are in dire need of donations to avoid losing our home, and any support, no matter the amount, would mean the world to us during this difficult time.
