Studying abroad in Florence has been a dream of mine since high school, long before I even started applying to colleges. Now, as a junior in the Hospitality program at SDSU, I finally have the chance to make this dream a reality. My program requires all students to study abroad because they believe it’s an experience you can only truly understand by living in another country. I’ve always wanted to see the world, explore the world beyond my home country and discover new perspectives, and immerse myself in different cultures. This opportunity will allow me to meet new people, learn how to adapt and thrive in a completely new environment, and discover more about myself along the way.

The funds raised will help cover my flight to Florence, my school tuition, housing, travel to other countries, and my daily living expenses. Every contribution will directly support my journey and help me make the most of this incredible opportunity. I am so excited to learn, grow, and bring back everything I experience to my future career in hospitality.
