Help Megan Save Her Puppy Sadie

My name is Megan Hughes and I have a nine-month-old puppy named Sadie. Sadie is a very energetic, loving dog. She doesn't bite, she doesn't growl, she doesn't bark. She was one of those dogs from my neighborhood that I found in the rain. Someone was going to put her in a trash bag and throw it on the highway, so I decided to take her in and take care of her.

Unfortunately, today when I got off of work, I let my dogs out to potty and I went to sit down for a minute. Then, I heard about 5 gunshots so I ran to the back to check on the dogs and Sadie came limping up. They shot her twice in the leg. I rushed her to the vet and they told me I had two choices: to pay $3,000 to $5,000 for surgery or to put her down! I can't bear the thought of losing her, so I'm reaching out for help. Right now, she is stabilized at home, but I need to have this surgery done.
