Help Megan Save Her Beloved Dog Ares

My name is Megan, and I’m reaching out with vulnerability and hope. My sweet, sweet Ares boy has recently been diagnosed with mast cell cancer. The news has been devastating — and even more so because it comes at a time when I’m facing personal health and financial hardship myself.

Earlier this year, I lost my job while dealing with serious health challenges of my own. I was doing everything I could to stay afloat, but ultimately, my health forced me out of work. I’m still in recovery, and while I’m doing better now, I haven't yet been able to get back on my feet financially.

Ares is more than a pet — he is family...my soul dog. He has been my emotional anchor through everything: illness, uncertainty, and loss. Now, he needs me — and I am determined not to let him down.

The recommended surgery offers Ares a strong chance at recovery, but the costs are steep. Between the surgery, diagnostics, medication, and follow-up care, we are looking at approximately $4,000. I am doing everything I can to find a way forward, but I simply cannot do this alone.
