Help Megan Ruiz With Legal Fees

I am being sued by Chris Shaffer for defamation, slander per se, libel per se, conspiracy, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
On June 22nd, 2020, I posted a Tweet describing some of my experiences with Chris Shaffer, the Associate Dean of Students at Ringling College of Art and Design. Many people voiced that they had similar experiences, or worse. Myself, and a group of Alumni and current students started to gather reports from people who had bad experiences. We currently have around 60 reports.
On June 24th, an Open Letter was sent to Ringling College, asking for an investigation into Shaffer. Almost 30 reports from current students, Alumni, and past staff members, were attached to the Open Letter.

The only reason I continued to speak about Chris Shaffer is because I wanted to help all of the people who were coming forward about their experiences. Many people in the Ringling College community sent messages saying that my posts gave them the courage to speak out and report their story.
Because Chris Shaffer filed a civil lawsuit against me, I am forced to hire an attorney to defend me. All the money raised from this campaign will go towards the cost of my defense.
