On March 5, 2025, my girlfriend, Megan, experienced one of the most devastating losses of her life. What began as an ordinary workday quickly turned into a nightmare.
Late that evening, around 11 PM, Megan received the heartbreaking news that her business was engulfed in flames.
Megan is one of the most hardworking and selfless people I know. She sets ambitious goals and doesn’t stop until she turns them into reality.
After graduating from esthetics school in 2016, Megan pursued her lifelong dream of owning her own spa, with hopes of one day expanding into a med spa. She dedicated herself fully to her craft, often starting work before sunrise and staying until long after sunset, always prioritizing her clients and striving for excellence.
MB Aesthetics was more than just a business to Megan—it was a labor of love, built with years in the making of hard work, passion, and sacrifice. She poured her heart and soul into creating a space where every individual felt included, valued, and confident in their own beauty. Every piece of equipment, every investment in her business was earned through her own dedication and perseverance. Megan celebrated her first year in business Nov 14 2024 and anticipated many opportunities and growth in 2025.
Megan is exceptionally talented in her field, not just as an aesthetician but as an artist and as a business owner. She never saw her work as just a job but as a way to impact lives. An internationally recognized, award-winning lash artist and aesthetician with nine years of experience, her work speaks for itself.
Beyond MB Aesthetics, Megan’s generosity and drive extend into her community. As Miss Ohio for a North Carolina-based pageant system called American United Miss and a lifetime queen / coordinator for America’s International Miss, she is deeply committed to giving back, especially through her platform, which focuses on supporting children and individuals with disabilities. She has always had a heart for helping others—whether it meant giving her last dollar or the shirt off her back, Megan would never hesitate to step up for someone in need.
Now, Megan is facing an unimaginable challenge. Not only has she lost her place of work, but she has also lost over $100,000 in essential equipment.
Please consider helping Megan through this difficult time. No donation is too small—every contribution will make a meaningful difference as she begins to rebuild.
