Help Megan Nichols stay in college.

Hi,

My name is Jeff.

I am starting this fundraiser because of the interview I heard on RTE's LiveLine with Joe Duffy about Megan Nichols.

Megan is currently caught in a vicious loop in the Irish system whereby she;

1) Doesn't get her SUSI education grant because her college is on summer break.

2) Can't sign on the dole because she is a registered "full-time" student.

On top of that, she gives a brief summary of her life in the interview which she delivers in a voice that sounds truly defeated.

She explains how her mother died suddenly and tragically making her an orphan when she was 16.

How she wants to continue her 3rd level education but is finding it very difficult financially to support.

How she is finding it extremely difficult to find part-time work at this time.

How her grants give her €650 a month (September to May only)but her rent & bills is €500 per month, leaving little to nothing left for food or clothing.

She has no immediate family for support as she emigrated here from Manchester 11 years ago.

This GoFundMe is for her.

To give her the financial assistance she needs to continue to better herself and hopefully remove some of the worry & stress that is resting on her shoulders.
