Help Megan (Brown) Klope Recover

Dear friends of the Klope family,

As many of you know, for the last several months, Megan has been experiencing various health issues. In April Megan had gallstones which led to her developing pancreatitis and an extended hospital stay. Since then, Megan has been in and out of the hospital with infections caused by her gallbladder. Due to the stress caused by her pancreatitis and infections, Megan’s heart has been unable to recover from her recent pregnancy. This led to Megan going into cardiac arrest and experiencing heart failure. While in the CCU in Vanderbilt Megan has coded and gone into VFib multiple times, has pneumonia, and still has the infection from her gallbladder. It has been an overwhelming, emotional and terrifying journey that is just beginning as she is facing a long road to recovery. Her strength has been inspiring as she fights for her life day in and day out. Megan has been unable to work during this time and has had numerous hospital stays.  If you have spent any time with her, you know what an incredible person Megan is. Andrew has been by her side at the hospital, while their parents have juggled caring for their four children, Ari (16), Annalise (14), Carter (4) and Lincoln (8 months). She and her family need our help. This fundraiser is set up to help offset the costs of medical expenses and her time off work.
