My name is Emmalee, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my best friend, Megan Elise. Megan and I have been friends since we were 15 years old, and over the years, I've watched her light up every room she enters with her infectious smile and unparalleled sense of humor. Megan is a single mother of six beautiful children and has a heart big enough to welcome anyone who needs love and support.

Megan has faced unimaginable challenges in recent years. In 2022, her world was shattered when her oldest daughter, Brielle, was tragically taken in a car accident caused by a driver under the influence. This loss has been a deep and enduring pain for Megan and her family. But even in the midst of her grief, Megan has shown incredible strength, finding joy again when she and her partner Andrew welcomed their rainbow baby, Ezra Jean, four months ago.

Just when it seemed life was beginning to settle, Megan suffered a severe accident on August 25th. She blacked out at home, fell, and broke her jaw in four places. The injuries were so serious that she was airlifted to Salt Lake City for emergency treatment. Megan now faces multiple invasive surgeries and a long, painful recovery.

Unfortunately, Megan’s workplace does not offer medical leave, and she is now unable to work for the foreseeable future. Between the travel costs for surgeries, follow-up appointments, and everyday living expenses, Megan and her family are facing a financial crisis.
