Hi everyone

My daughter Megan is in 8th grade this year, and her school has a big trip coming up to Washington, D.C.

It’s such an amazing opportunity for her and her classmates to learn, explore, and make memories they’ll never forget.

Unfortunately, the trip costs around $1,200 and like many families right now, we just can’t afford to cover the full amount.

I wanted to create this GoFundMe not just to help Megan get there, but also to help other students who might be in the same situation.

I know times are tough for everyone and this isn’t something I normally do. It honestly feels a little weird putting this out there but I just want to give Megan the chance to go and if we’re able to help another student along the way, even better.

If we’re lucky enough to raise more than what she needs, any extra will go directly to the school to help other kids who would love to go but might not be able to because of the cost.

Every little bit helps, even just sharing this means so much to us.
