Megan has been strong and courageous in fighting the medical challenges that life has dealt her thus far. We are seeking support from friends and family to fund treatment for her pituitary gland dysfunction. She has undergone a wide variety of medical tests, only to discover that, though she has symptoms of a benign tumor on her pituitary gland, no tumor has been found. Sometimes, non-cancerous patients can slide by public awareness, feeling forgotten in their need for treatment. The pituitary gland is the master gland that impacts many functions in the body. In turn, dysfunction of this critical gland leads to many symptoms, including disrupted sleep, chronic headaches, mental fatigue, and infertility.

We have finally found a doctor who has proposed treatment that would help her pituitary gland return to normal functioning. The treatment has strong potential to improve her quality of life, physical functioning, and opportunity to start her family. However, the cost of this treatment is more than Megan and her husband can afford, due in part to her physical inability to work at times. Any and all contributions, be them big or small, will support the treatment costs, giving Megan a chance to again feel well-rested, physically capable, sound-minded, and to finally be prepared to start her long-deserved family with her husband.
